WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Road work will be causing lane closures on Interstate 40 in Wilson County for the next week, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
TDOT said crews will be conducting resurfacing work on I-40 in both directions at Exit 226.

WILSON CO: From tonight (10/2) through 10/8, nightly resurfacing work will result in I-40 lane closures in both directions at Exit 226. The ramp may also be temporarily closed during work hours (8 p.m. - 5 a.m.). — ErinTDOT (@ErinTDOT) October 2, 2025
The resurfacing work will cause lane closures in both directions beginning on Thursday, Oct. 2. through Oct. 8, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The ramp could also be closed during those work hours, TDOT said.
