It's one of the most well-known unofficial holidays for "Mean Girls" lovers.

Every year, when Oct. 3 arrives, fans of the 2004 comedy movie, starring Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, are sure to mention what's widely celebrated and recognized as "Mean Girls" Day on social media.

In the movie, there is a montage with a voiceover that shows a classroom interaction between Lohan's character and her crush, Aaron Samuels, played by Jonathan Bennett.

"On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was," Lohan says.
