BANGOR -- The city of Bangor certainly has no shortage of history, but it also has no shortage of spooky stories. The Bangor Historical Society merges both of those in their ghostly walking tours every October.

Tour host and historical society manager Matt Bishop has been hosting these spooky strolls for well over a decade every October. Thursday was the first one of 2025.

Bishop says he hasn't seen a spirit in his time in Bangor yet, but he says leading these journeys is a great way to educate locals on both the history and the haunts.
