MURRAY – During two unrelated preliminary hearings in Calloway County District Court Wednesday, Judge Randall Hutchens found probable cause to bind the cases of a man accused of threatening to kill police and a man accused of trying to kidnap two children to a grand jury.

Timothy Christian Crouse is charged with second-degree terroristic threatening after being arrested by the Murray Police Department on Sept. 27. During Crouse’s preliminary hearing, Detective Sgt. Justin Swope with the Murray Police Department testified that the Murray State University Police Department contacted him on Sept. 26 about a “concerning” email the MSU Service Desk had received.
