Taylor Swift ‘s song “ CANCELLED! ” on her new album The Life of a Showgirl is all about friends of hers who have been involved in scandal and how they can relate to each other.

While people thought Taylor might have been singing about Blake Lively on “ Ruin the Friendship ” (she isn’t), she might actually be referencing the actress on this song. And it’s a completely different sentiment.

“Good thing I like my friends cancelled / I like ‘em cloaked in Gucci and in scandal / Like my whiskey sour / And poison thorny flowers / Welcome to my underworld / Where it gets quite dark / At least you know exactly who your friends are / They’re the ones with matching scars, ” Taylor sings on the chorus.
