LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Some Las Vegas neighbors are claiming a “small victory” over the health district’s postponed call to join the city sewer system.
On Thursday, the Southern Nevada Health District alerted residents that the feedback window and eventual vote on a septic swap for water conservation would be moved to sometime next year, pointing to incoming feedback.
“The proposed updates are intended to simplify and clarify existing language while strengthening safeguards for public health and the environment,” SNHD staff wrote in the press release.
