The University of Colorado Boulder raised $228.9 million from 44,055 donors during fiscal 2025, good for CU’s most-successful fundraising year to date.
“This milestone reflects transformative philanthropic support — from alumni, community members, staff, faculty and students — to empower student success, lead sustainability initiatives and advance research excellence and community partnerships,” CU said in a news release.
Highlights from the year included:
• A $15 million gift from political science alumnus Michael Klump to transform the Real Estate Center and expand student wellness services.
• A contribution from John Cumming through the Cumming Foundation to enhance experiential learning and well-being at the Leeds School of Business.
• A $10 million gift from economics alumnus Spi
