Jaipur, Oct 3: Bajrang Singh, a former National Security Guard (NSG) commando who participated in the 26/11 Mumbai anti-terror operation, has been arrested for heading a ganja smuggling network in Rajasthan. Singh was apprehended on Wednesday night in Churu with 200 kg of the banned drug, police said. Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar confirmed that Singh, a resident of Sikar district, had been under surveillance and carried a reward of Rs 25,000. The arrest followed two months of operations under ‘Operation Gaanjaney’ by the Anti-Terrorist Squad and Anti-Narcotics Task Force.
Bajrang Singh had joined the Border Security Force after Class 10 and later served in the NSG, participating in counter-terror operations including the 26/11 attacks. In 202
