Ugochukwu Uzoechina scored an overtime goal to break the tie and give Plainfield a 5-4 win over Bound Brook, in Bound Brook.

Bound Brook burst out to a 3-2 lead behind two goals from Camilo Murillo. Murillo recorded a hat trick in the game, his first of his career at Bound Brook.

Plainfield’s Michael Martinez scored just before halftime to knot the game up at the break.

Both teams traded goals, sending the game to overtime before Uzoechina’s game-winning goal.

Martinez and Elias Aceituno scored a goal apiece for Plainfield (5-2).

Plainfield has won four of its last five games.

Bound Brook will face off against Watchung Hills in the second round of the Somerset County tournament on Tuesday.
