PAU conducts training on Fruit Crop Management

Ludhiana (Punjab), October 3, 2025: The Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), under the guidance of the Dean, College of Agriculture, organized a training programme on “Management Practices of Fruit Crops” at village Kular, Ludhiana.

The event was part of the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme conducted by final-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students and witnessed the participation of around 40 farmers.

Dr. Harsimrat Kaur Bons, Senior Fruit Scientist, addressed the gathering with a lecture on fruit crop management, guiding farmers on key issues such as fruit cracking, fruit drop, and fruit fly.
