There were about 1540 head yarded , slightly back on early September, with steers the vast majority.
Weaner steers under 200 kilograms sold from $710 to $1240, while those 200-280kg - the bulk of the sale - returned $905 to $1580, and those 280-330kg sold between $1220 and $1760.
Weaner heifers under 200kg made $570 to $600 while those 200kg to 280kg sold from $870 to $1230.
Yearling steers sold to $1590 while yearling heifers reached $1195.
