Ouagadougou: Burkina Faso is facing a growing humanitarian crisis as hundreds of children displaced by ongoing violence require urgent assistance to continue their education. Br. Alain Toughma, a delegate of the Missionary Brothers of the Countryside (F.M.R) in Burkina Faso, has appealed to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) International for support for over 200 students in Pama, a town in the country’s eastern region.

The Missionary Brothers have previously received assistance from ACN, which covered school fees for 222 students and provided essential food aid to displaced families. With the start of the new school term on October 1, an additional 235 children now require immediate support.
