Team India opener KL Rahul had to wait for a long time to score a Test century at home. In fact, Rahul waited for 3211 days to finally score a home Test ton – breaking the record of Ravichandran Ashwin in the process for the longest wait. Rahul notched up a 100 off 190 balls on Day 2 of the 1st Test vs West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
It was Rahul’s 11th Test century and 9 of them have come away from India. The Indian opener completed the century with a single of West Indies captain Roston Chase and had an emotional celebration immediately aft
