A number of television networks quoted President Donald Trump on Thursday saying that he is going to decide which “Democrat Agencies” to cut, either temporarily during the shutdown or permanently. They should have reported that he is going to decide which “Federal Agencies” under his control he is going to cut.

His statement about “Democrat Agencies” is totally false and misleading. Millions of viewers are going to walk away thinking that the agencies he’s talking about are “Democrat,” thereby making his false statement a reality in the minds of these viewers.

Unfortunately, this happens every day.
