IAF Chief AP Singh spoke to the media before the 93rd Air Force Day celebration.

Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said on Friday that Pakistan's claims of shooting down Indian jets are mere fairy tales. If they have any evidence, they should show it. India has destroyed five of their fighter jets, including F-16s and J-17s.

Regarding Operation Sindoor, AP Singh said, "The Indian Army penetrated 300 km into Pakistan and attacked. After the Pahalgam attack, we decided they would have to pay the price. The army was given free rein. We attacked with precision. Later, Pakistan itself agreed to a ceasefire."
