World No. 1 T20I batter Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for India A in the ongoing second unofficial ODI against Australia A at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur but got out for a golden duck. He was sent back to the pavilion on the first ball of the second over bowled by Jack Edwards. Will Sutherland completed his catch after India A captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first.

Indian fans had high hopes from Abhishek after he impressed with his batting in the Asia Cup 2025 but he failed to live up to the expectations in the 50-over match.
