FOXBORO — As the Patriots’ defense has found its footing over the last two weeks, linebacker Robert Spillane has been in the middle of it all.

Spillane ranks fifth among NFL linebackers with an 84.3 PFF grade in the last two weeks. He has an interception and 25 tackles in that span of time.
