Penn State men’s hockey reached new heights in the 2024-25 season, reaching the program’s first Frozen Four in the NCAA Tournament. It didn’t come without drama, either, as the Nittany Lions started winless in nine conference games before going on a miraculous second-half run.

The No. 5 Lions get back on the ice Friday for the 2025-26 season Friday, beginning the campaign at No. 14 Arizona State in an early ranked showdown. Both games of the series will air for national audiences on NHL network, at 10 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday.
