(KFVS) - Today and through the weekend are looking warm and mostly sunny.
Highs will remain above average with afternoon temperatures in the mid-80s.
The evenings may feel slightly cooler, dropping to the 50s.
After a calm weekend, the pattern starts to shift as a cold front begins to move toward the Heartland.
This will bring isolated to scattered shower and storm chances on Monday through early Wednesday.
Substantial rain amounts are not looking likely at this time, so it may not help much with the drought conditions.
After the front moves through, high temperatures look to drop into the 70s for the second half of next week.
