The Met Office has warned Brits to brace themselves for oncoming Storm Amy, which has now been given an amber weather warning, as wind could hit the country with brutal 95mph gusts. ‌

Schools across Counties Antrim, Londonderry, Tyrone and Fermanagh have been advised by the Education Authority in Northern Ireland to close at noon to ensure the safety of pupils and staff during the storm .
