In an initiative to enhance road safety and commuting convenience, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will soon install project sign boards along national highway stretches, embedded with Quick Response (QR) codes.

Under this initiative, announced on Friday, travellers will be able to get all the details about the project and emergency helpline numbers just by scanning a simple QR code. This is aimed at making highways more user-friendly and accessible.
