KALABURAGI: A violent clash broke out between some inmates of the Kalaburagi Central Prison, resulting in one prisoner stabbing another with a sharp object. The inmate suffered injuries in the neck and has been admitted to hospital.

An altercation broke out between Ismail Moulali (30) and Mohammad Hussain, who hails from Bidar. Hussain stabbed Moulali with a sharp object during the fight. Moulali has been admitted to the Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences.

Hussain in in prison serving a sentence related to a ganja case. The Farhatabad police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
