In the wee hours of Friday morning, President Donald Trump posted a dark AI video parody set to the tune of Blue Öyster Cult's 1976 hit ("Don't Fear) The Reaper" — much to the grave concern of many.

In the video, Trump, clad in an ominous dark hooded robe, bangs on a bell while Vice President JD Vance plays the drums. Office of Director of the Office of Management and Budget and Project 2025 architect Russell Vought is the grim reaper.

Lyrics like "Now the time has come. Here their power's gone. Russ Vought is the reaper. He wields the pen, the funds, the brain," accompany a dystopian walk through scenes featuring photos of Democrats hanging in a hallway.

"This is what the president is doing while the government is shut down. We’re so screwed," wrote Democratic influencer Harry Sisson on his X account.

Political commentator George Conway took to X to note "Signs of psychosis. No biggie."

"This one has come from Miller. It's out of his genre and vibe. Makes me think after the Quantico word salad, he's had another health setback and the social media has been taken over by Project 2025," Author Helen Allen said on her X account.

"Trump's unhinged rants and occult memes aren't just signs of psychosis, they're a national security nightmare, proving he's too deranged to wield power without endangering us all," noted political commentator Richard Angwin on X.

"I don’t want to hear anything from the right about Obama being divisive (...) blah (...) blah (...) or disrespect towards Charlie Kirk anymore. Trump is the most unhinged, divisive and hateful clown of a POTUS in U.S history. Its not even close," wrote retired Wall Street analyst Leonidas K on X.

X influencer Alex Cole wondered, "Where are all the [Charlie] Kirk snowflakes whining about rhetoric?"

The video, according to The Daily Beast, was made by a group known as the Dilley Meme Team founded by Brenden Dilley, a failed Arizona congressional candidate and Trump supporter, best known for a since-deleted meme Trump once shared calling for a "unified Reich."
