Happy Friday friends! It's a tale of two seasons as we head into the weekend despite a weak cold frontal passage late tonight into Saturday morning. Temperatures are in the 30s/40s this morning with patchy dense river valley fog and mostly clear skies. Make it a point to travel safely and consider that extra layer.

Highs will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s this afternoon with sunny skies. High pressure will traverse southern New England today and that's why winds will pivot to the south. Light south winds and sunshine will help to boost us above average today before a weak cold frontal passage overnight. That boundary will be accompanied by a few extra clouds by Saturday morning with lows in the 50s.
