PEORIA, Ill. (25 News) – A teenager and a man have been charged for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy on Tuesday in Peoria.
25 News reports that 18-year-old Curtis Jones and 27-year-old Jafari Robinson were charged in court on Thursday for cleaning up the scene and conspiring to kill 15-year-old Keyaun Schmitt-Hardimon.
Jones was indicted with one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder and one count of concealment of homicidal death. He’s accused of putting the 15-year-old in a rug and discussing gunshots with another person the night before the shooting.
Robinson was charged with one count of concealment of homicidal death for allegedly cleaning up blood at the scene.
