CIRCLEVILLE, OHIO — Circleville Police handled 43 calls for service on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, ranging from extra patrol checks to more serious incidents including a reported assault, a fight, and a theft.

The day began with several overnight extra patrols across the city, including checks on North Court Street, West Main Street, and Lancaster Pike. Around 12:46 a.m., officers served a warrant on Lancaster Pike, and later issued a traffic citation on South Washington Street.

At 5:21 a.m., emergency crews responded to a fire/EMS alarm on Lancaster Pike, where one person was transported to the hospital. A short time later, police and medics were called to Villa Drive for a reported assault, with another person transported to a hospital for treatment.
