Sophie Cunningham's joke may have backfired a little bit, but no worries: It's all going to be for a good cause.

The Indiana Fever guard started an actual GoFundMe that she clearly stated was "more of a joke than anything" and was "for fines only or to charity for a yacht idk." But then people started donating to it, and as of publishing this, fans have given more than $5,000.

"A yacht would be nice," Cunningham wrote on the GoFundMe page, "but whatever we raise here will be going directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities. I’ll take care of my own fines. Y'all are the best."

She also went through it on X (formerly Twitter):
