A new Taylor Swift album dropped, so naturally the Swifties have on their detective hats to decode lyrics and figure out references. There has been a lot of discussion around the song "CANCELLED!" on her new The Life Of A Showgirl, and some fans think they may have put together a connection with actress Blake Lively.
Swift and Lively have been longtime friends, but the duo hasn't been seen together much as Lively has been dealing with a sexual harassment lawsuit against actor Justin Baldoni. Lively and Baldoni co-starred in It Ends With Us and have been embroiled in a contentious legal battle for months.

Some Swifties think the lyrics of "CANCELLED!" show the singer still supports her friend, even as things have gotten messy with Baldoni's legal team trying to serve Swift with deposition papers.
It's possible the song is about a lot of different people from the course of Swift's life, but the lyric "Good thing I like my friends cancelled, I like 'em cloaked in Gucci and in scandal like my whiskey sour and poison thorny flowers," is the one that most have pointed at to refer to Lively. The Gossip Girl actress previously did ads for Gucci fragrance, has her Betty Buzz drink company and played the character Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us.
Like a lot Taylor Swift songs -- except "Wood" on this album -- we'll likely never know for sure who each song is about. That won't stop Swifties from hypothesizing, though!
