A house in Alpine that sold for $16 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Bergen County in the past week.

The county saw a total of 196 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $1.1 million. The average price per square foot was $492.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Sept. 22 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $2.1 million, single-family residence at 128 Melrose Place

A 3,000-square-foot single-family home at 128 Melrose Place in Ridgewood has been sold. The price was $2,100,000, $700 per square foot. The house was built in 1921. The deal was finalized on Aug. 29.
