A house in Margate City that sold for $4.2 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Atlantic County in the past week.

The county saw a total of 136 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $454,320. The average price per square foot was $278.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Sept. 22 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $875K, single-family residence at 16 S. Jackson Ave.

A detached house at 16 S. Jackson Ave. in Atlantic City, has been sold. The price was $875,000. The house was built in 1905 and has a living area of 1,940 square feet. The price per square foot was $451. The deal was finalized on Sep. 2.
