The All Garo Hills Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. (AGHMPCS) celebrated its Fourth Foundation Day on October 1, at Babadam, drawing a large gathering of stakeholders and members.
The event was graced by Senior Assistant Registrar of Cooperatives, Valentina K Marak, as Chief Guest. In her address, she highlighted “concern for the community” as a core principle of the cooperative movement, stressing that unity and collective effort are essential to solving societal challenges. She also distributed awards, with Krimkro Piggery Cooperative Society winning the award for Best Primary Cooperative Society.
Delivering the keynote address, Rev. Dr. Sunny Joseph Marvelil outlined the vision of AGHMPCS to harness the agricultural resources of Garo Hills for prosperity and sustainable growth. H
