WASHINGTON — On Friday, Sean "Diddy" Combs is expected to be sentenced following his conviction on prostitution-related charges earlier this year, ending the court saga that has seen the hip-hop mogul fall from grace.
Prosecutors urged a New York federal judge Tuesday to send Combs to prison for 11 years, citing one of his accusers who said she lives in fear of the music mogul's release from detention.
But Combs and his defense team are pushing for a much more lenient sentence.
Combs, 55, has remained jailed since his July conviction on charges related to arranging male sex workers to travel to hotels or residences where he directed them to have sex with his girlfriends.
