The Delhi government has introduced CCTV surveillance in newly established resource centres tailored for children with disabilities. Aiming for comprehensive safety and transparency, these centres will serve the community from 9 am to 5 pm, six days a week, excluding certain holidays.
As per the Directorate of Education's recent directive, the initiative includes a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) critical for the centres' success in achieving streamlined operations among special education teachers, therapists, and resource coordinators. The SOP emphasizes simultaneous cooperation and the seamless integration of services.
Every therapy session in these resource centres, offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and more, is structured to optimize child development and welfare. Moni
