Two people were found fatally wounded overnight inside a residence in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of South Normal Boulevard at a residence and found two people with gunshot wounds to the head.
A 38-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A weapon was recovered, and detectives were investigating.
