Oct. 3 1976 — Bills 50, Chiefs 17 — Lou Saban’s last win as Buffalo's coach was a barnburner. Bob Chandler caught three touchdown passes from Joe Ferguson, while O.J. Simpson rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and Jeff Kinney added 114 yards on the ground and a scoring run. Tony Greene returned an interception 101 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and even with George Jakowenko missing two extra points, it was the first of six occasions the Bills would score 50 or more points in the stadium.
