Cut by New England in late August, Kendrick Bourne starred in San Francisco’s thrilling 26-23 Thursday Night Football win over the Rams. The veteran caught 10 passes from old friend Mac Jones for a career-high 142 receiving yards in the national spotlight.
With injuries to Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings, and Brandon Aiyuk sidelined, Bourne had to step up as San Francisco’s No. 1 wideout less than a month after joining the team. All-Pro tight end George Kittle was out, too.
