Diddy is apologizing to ex-girlfriend Cassie .

On Friday (October 3), the 55-year-old disgraced music mogul is set to appear in court again to be sentenced after he was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

In the days ahead of the sentencing, Diddy wrote a letter of appeal to the judge, and in it, he apologized to Cassie , 39.

In the letter, Diddy addressed the security camera footage from 2016 where he can be seen hitting, kicking, and dragging, his then-girlfriend at a hotel in Los Angeles.

“Over the past thirteen months, I have had to look in the mirror like never before,” Diddy wrote. “My pain became my teacher. My sadness was my motivator. I have to admit, my downfall was rooted in my selfishness.”
