Zimbabwe made it to their 7 th T20 World Cup after defeating Kenya in the semi-finals of the Africa qualifiers on Thursday. A quickfire 51 from opener Brian Bennett set up Zimbabwe for a seven-wicket victory in Harare. Apart from confirming a trip to India for his team next year, Bennet also scripted a new chapter in the history of T20Is.

Zimbabwe, chasing 123 against Kenya, witnessed history when 21-year-old Bennet became the first batter in T20 Internationals to hit six boundaries in a single over. He tore into Kenyan left-arm pacer Lucas Ndandason, smashing six consecutive fours to light up the chase.
