ATLANTA — An Atlanta native and fashion designer celebrated a major birthday milestone with her community.
Annie Moore, whose birthday was Sept. 20th, celebrated her 106th birthday with staff at A.G. Rhodes nursing home, where she is currently a resident.

Recently crowned Ms. A.G. Rhodes, Moore graduated from Spelman College in 1943 and is the oldest living alumnae.

She also had an illustrious career as a fashion designer, with her work featured in Vogue in 1953 and on display at the Atlanta History Center.
