As announced, YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to hit the roads to get the maximum traction among the people by leading the protest against the coalition government’s decision to complete medical colleges under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The party has been opposing the move, insisting that the government itself should complete these colleges instead of handing them over to private entities. It has already staged protests across the state a few days ago.

Now, Jagan has decided to personally lead the agitation.

On October 9, he will tour Anakapalli district, inspect works at the Narsipatnam Medical College, and outline his future course of action.
