PHOENIX - Our warm stretch continues, with above-average temps expected on Oct. 3 in the Valley.

Today:

Friday will be another warm day, with a high temperature of around 102 degrees in Phoenix.

While skies will be sunny in the deserts, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the mountains of far eastern Arizona. As for the winds, they will pick up by late-morning, continuing through the evening with gusts up to 25 mph in the Valley, and up to around 45 mph in the High Country. Wind advisories will also be in effect, due to the strong, southwesterly wind gusts.

This Weekend:

Saturday and Sunday will be calmer days, with sunny, dry skies. A cool down arrives on Saturday, dropping temperatures back into the low 90s for the weekend!
