BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- "The Last Five Years" is a 90-minute musical running Oct. 10-12 with four shows at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
The modern love story follows the five-year relationship between Jamie and Cathy. It's told in a very compelling way and offers an unforgettable look at love, ambition, and heartbreak.
The romance is the debut production for Strike Theatre Company, founded by Nicklaus White. "The music is amazing. The cast is small, so it's easier to manage with a small cast and small band, but the story is really strong," stated White. "I hope people take away that we can do shows in a new and exciting way."
