DETROIT — It’s always a luxury to have a returning all-league player to count on, and that is what Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes has had this season in Alex Asai.

Last season, the running back/defensive back was an all-Catholic performer in the Catholic League for the Lakers, and he appears well on his way to achieving that honor again this season in what’s been another good two-way season.
