David Lammy has been heckled and booed by mourners at a vigil for the victims of the Manchester synagogue attack.
Members of the crowd shouted “shame on you”, “go to Palestine, leave us alone” and “you have blood on your hands” at the grim-faced justice secretary secretary.
He was standing alongside home secretary Shabana Mahmood at the vigil, which took place a day after two people were killed and three others seriously injured at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.
The terrifying incident took place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar.
The dead men were named on Friday as Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66.
