US President Donald Trump has issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, demanding that the militant group agree to a proposed peace deal for Gaza by Sunday evening, 6 PM Washington DC time. He warned that failure to reach an agreement would result in unprecedented violence against Hamas. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, "If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER."

Trump's proposal includes a ceasefire, the disarmament of Hamas, and the release of hostages within 72 hours. He also mentioned that a transitional authority would be established in Gaza, with himself and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair playing key roles. While the plan does not require civilians to evacuate, Trump urged innocent Palestinians to leave the area for their safety, stating, "I am asking that all innocent Palestinians immediately leave this area of potentially great future death for safer parts of Gaza."

Hamas has indicated it will review the proposal, which was unveiled earlier this week alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The conflict escalated after Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7, which resulted in significant casualties on both sides. According to Israeli figures, over 1,200 people were killed in the initial attack, while the Gaza Health Ministry reports that at least 66,225 Palestinians have died since the conflict began, predominantly women and children.

In response to Trump's announcement, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that the 20-point Gaza plan presented by Trump was not the original proposal from Pakistan, indicating that changes had been made. The situation remains tense as the deadline approaches, with the international community closely monitoring developments in the region.
