While other brands expand into the beauty category, Coperni is blurring the lines between fashion and skincare with its new C+ line of “Carewear” clothing. With Paloma Elsesser as its muse, C+ is said to provide skincare benefits as you wear the pieces. By infusing fabric with probiotics and prebiotics, Coperni hopes to reinvent the way we see clothes.
“We are rethinking the connection between clothing and the body. Beyond covering, protecting or expressing, garments can now care for, nourish, and support the body where it feels most alive. That vision gave birth to carewear: a new category of clothing
with a new role to play,” designers Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer say in a press release. Above all else, the innovation strives to preserve comfort.
