Dhanush’s latest family entertainer, Idli Kadai, has been going strong at the box office. The film is loved by the audience. Released on October 1, the film has already earned Rs 21 crore. Seeing the response, the actor expressed how overwhelmed he felt with the love and affection pouring in for the film.

Taking to his X handle, Dhanush thanks fans for Idli Kadai. “Thank you all for the overwhelming love and affection towards our Idli kadai. Blessed. Grateful," he wrote. On October 2, the family drama enjoyed an overall Tamil occupancy of 59.87 percent. In the afternoon, Idli Kadai saw the most footfall of 70.02 percent, while the evening shows held steady at 69.21 percent. The numbers dipped during night shows, witnessing an overall occupancy of 65.26 percent.
