SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- Three suspects accused in a drive-by shooting, that was caught on-camera in Springfield, will remain behind bars.
In the early morning hours of July 5, Springfield Police responded to Miller Street for a ShotSpotter activation. When they arrived, they found 16 shell casings and damage to four homes and two vehicles that was caused by bullets. Two adults and three children were inside one residence as a bullet entered their residence and hit the couch. Stray bullets hit several other homes, with one getting a bullet shot through a kitchen window.
