PITTSBURGH —
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro is in Pittsburgh to discuss progress on the city's plan to revitalize Downtown.
The governor will be joined by Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, as well as Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey, Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato, Executive Vice President for Strategy of the Steelers David Morehouse and Pirates President Travis Williams. Advertisement
Officials are expected to talk about the progress that has been made since last year's announcement.

Demolition began at 8th Street and Penn Avenue in April to make way for Arts Landing, a $35 million, four-acre project.
