A man in his mid 70s is dead after being hit by a truck at southwest Edmonton intersection early Friday morning.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Stillwater Boulevard and 23 Avenue.
When CityNews reached the scene, roads were closed in all directions.
Police on scene said a man in his mid 70s was struck by a truck that was going eastbound. The man succumbed to his injuries on scene, and the 48-year-old woman driver is cooperating with the police.
Police also said speed and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the collision.
